Chamki ki Duniya hits India

Turner Broadcasting and Sesame Workshop have launched Chamki ki Duniya, the first completely animated series by Sesame Street. The new pre-school educational series will be aired in India on POGO – the kids’ channel by Turner on weekdays at 8:30am. This series is the second venture between Turner and Sesame Workshop. Previously, both companies had partnered to create five seasons of Galli Galli Sim Sim, the Indian adaptation of Sesame Street. Chamki ki Duniya follows five-year-old Chamki, an adventurous and curious schoolgirl anxious to know more about the world. The show addresses topics such as early literacy, creative thinking and reasoning, family and community life, healthy habits, appreciating cultural plurality and many more via compelling and humorous stories, music and art.
