China gets Mr Bean coffee shops

Tiger Aspect has recently struck a deal for six outlets in Shanghai (Jiangsu and Zhejiang), with a future expansion plan of 12 outlets for the upcoming year 2012. The deal implies the usage of Mr Bean brand on a chain of coffee shops opening in China later this year and in 2012. Tiger Aspect Productions is working with Shanghai Franchise Enterprise Management Services Company, which has licensed the rights to use the Mr Bean brand name. The outlets will be branded with the Mr Bean character and will be themed to reflect the franchise's humour. There are also plans to sell merchandise through the shops. The initiative is set to increase the awareness of Mr Bean brand in China throughout the network of coffee shops planned.
