Emporio Armani Expands its Sustainable Range

Emporio Armani's latest range of eyewear for men and women in the spring/summer 2023 collection is part of their ongoing sustainable journey. The eyewear is made from bio-based acetate, a material containing a minimum of 54 percent bio-based carbon content, and the packaging is crafted from recycled materials such as polyester. The line consists of four models with a bold and modern design, demonstrating the brand's commitment to environmental protection.

The sunglasses have a masculine, boxy frame crafted from bio-based acetate with a straight double bridge front and rectangular lenses, reminiscent of aviator style with a contemporary twist. They feature matching lenses made of partially bio-based nylon fiber with 41 percent bio-based carbon content. The sunglasses come in a transparent gray frame with dark gray lenses and havana with brown polarized lenses.

Women's sunglasses have an oversized front made of bio-based acetate with a cat-eye design that contrasts with bio-based nylon fiber temples featuring a chain motif and metal eagle logo, both with a minimum of 59 percent bio-based carbon content. The model is available in two glossy versions, one with a havana front with black temples and gradient brown lenses, and the other with a black front and temples with smoke gray gradient lenses.

The rectangular eyeglasses are made of bio-based acetate, with the Emporio Armani logo printed on the metal core. The front is in a classic and timeless style with contrasting temples. The eyeglasses are available in black with transparent gray temples and havana with transparent brown temples.

The cat-eye design eyeglasses have a bio-based acetate front with a minimum of 54 percent bio-based carbon content, and partially bio-based nylon fiber temples with a unique chain design featuring a central ring with the metal Emporio Armani eagle. They are available in two glossy versions, one in black and the other in havana with black temples.
