Reckoning the brand licensing industry of India, Swiss company J&V Global has partnered with Gingercrush, an online merchandising portal to launch 'Jaune & Vert' cartoon branded merchandise. The deal was mediated by Bradford License India, the Indian representative of the cartoon. “Jaune & Vert” characters are now available on a raft of products including t-shirts, mouse pads, mugs, coasters and more on Gingercrush.com. Jaune & Vert merchandise launched in India includes various categories like apparel, accessories, novelties etc.
J&V Global has produced and retailed over 30 references (greeting cards, tea bags, mugs, keychains, wax tealights and more) across French-speaking part of Switzerland. The characters Jaune & Vert were born out of necessity when Christian Zilocchi, owner, J&V global needed to illustrate one of his projects. In March 2011, Jaune & Vert welcomed a new friend little pink Rosalee. Published for the first time in the French speaking Swiss magazine “La Forêt” (The Forest), the toons are now used for merchandising products such as tea bags, mugs, hooks, etc. As a part of alliance, BLI will design the licensing program for the toons and support the brand to find ideal partners for retail program.
