YRF inks deals for movie based games

Yash Raj Films Licensing has inked licensing deal with mobile gaming company Games2win to develop casual gaming domain under YRFL. The gaming company will create a set of five games based on YRF's Bollywood content. Contemplating the popularity of YRF’s all time mega hit Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ), the first game called 'Movie Mania – Spot Differences' is based on DDLJ.The second game is based on YRF’s next release Detective Byomkesh Bakshy. Elaborating on the deal, Rohit Sobti, VP – Licensing and Merchandising at YRFL said, “We are in the process of building a gaming portfolio for YRF Intellectual Property (IP). We are thrilled at having the opportunity to develop appealing and challenging games with G2W that are based on award-winning YRF titles.” G2W will create games will be based on new and old YRF films. The genres of games that are in development are Match Three, Spot the Difference and Quiz games.
