Coca-Cola India Foundation Partners with Hockey India to Empower Women's Hockey

Anandana, The Coca-Cola India Foundation, has forged its inaugural collaboration with Hockey India for the National Women's Hockey League 2024. The tournament's first phase, which began on April 30th and runs until May 9th, 2024, in Ranchi, Jharkhand, promises an exciting display of talent and skill.

Featuring teams that excelled in Pune's recently concluded 14th Hockey India Senior Women National Championship 2024, the league showcases athletes from states including Haryana, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Bengal, Mizoram, Manipur, and Odisha.

Aligned with Coca-Cola India's dedication to sports, the three-year partnership underscores its role in shaping the sports and gender equality landscape positively. This collaboration resonates with the company's #SheTheDifference campaign, which aims to celebrate and uplift women. By providing specialized coaching, training equipment, nutritional support, and organizing camps and tournaments, the strategic partnership seeks to elevate women's hockey.

Sporting Ethos, serving as the implementation partner, offers crucial support to help players realize their potential and contribute to the growth of Indian sports.

Dr Dilip Tirkey, President, Hockey India said, "We are thrilled to have Anandana, the Coca-Cola India Foundation onboard for the inaugural edition of the tournament.
